من قبل إدراكِ الوجود لذاتِهِ كانت لُغاتُ الماءِ في قَسَمَاتهِ
اللهُ شَرفّه جَلالة عَرشهِ قبل السماء تكون من آياتهِ
سُبحانَ من جعلَ المياهَ حياتنا وبها يَشمُّ الكونُ عطر حياتِه!!
هو قطرةُ الذهبِ التي من سِحَرِها يتشكَّلُ المعنى بكلِّ جهاتهِ
هو جوهرُ الأشياءِ والأحياءِ؛ فالأشياءُ والأحياءُ رَهْنُ فُراتهِ
هو خمرُ هذي الأرض، زُخْرُفُ قَلْبِها، ونسيجُ ثوبِ الأرضِ من قطراتهِ
والكائناتُ بحيِّها وجمادها، لا شيء يكتبُها سوى جَنّاتِه
دُررُ السحابِ هديةٌ سحريَّةٌ نسَجت لنهر الحبِ عِقْدَ صَلَاتِهِ
فتسنبلَ الجَدبُ الحَزينُ محبَّةً، وامتدَّ في الأرواحِ عُرْسُ نَبَاتِهِ
يا أيُّها الطينُ الذي يُدعىٰ أنا والماءُ عُنصرُ أَصْلِهِ وصِفَاتهِ
لا تخدشِ القَطرَ الحبيبَ بخنجر الإسرفِ.. فلتصغِ إلى أنَّاتهِ
وعلامَ ترتكب التلوّثَ لعنةً كُبرى؛ لقتلِ الكون قَبل وفَاتهِ
الماءُ فاتحةُ البقاءِ، ولا سلام يَرِفُّ إلّا من شَذَا رَاياتهِ
WATER.. THE PRELUDE TO EXISTENCE

Before existence became aware of itself,
The languages of water were etched in its features.
God honored it with the majesty of His Throne
Before the heavens formed as signs of His might.
Glory to Him who made water our life,
And through it, the universe breathes the fragrance of its being!
It is the golden drop, whose magic
Shapes meaning from every angle.
It is the essence of all things and beings;
For both are bound to its Euphrates.
It is the wine of this earth, the ornament of its heart,
And the fabric of the earth’s garment, woven from its drops.
Living creatures and inanimate forms alike—
Nothing writes their story but its gardens.
The pearls of the clouds are a magical gift,
Weaving for the river of love a necklace of prayers.
The barren land blossoms with affection,
And the wedding of its growth extends into souls.
O clay that is called I,
Water is the element of your origin and its traits.
Do not wound the beloved drop with the dagger of waste—
Listen to its sighs.
Why commit pollution, the greatest curse,
To kill the universe before its death?
Water is the prelude to existence,
And no peace will flutter except from the scent of its banners.
